Kermit High School Rotary Student of the Month for September 2024
The student of the month for September is Kermit High School Senior, Mr. Elias Quiroz. He is the son of Jamie Quiroz and Adilene Quiroz.
Some of the activities that Eli is participating in are National Honor Society, and is a member of the Varsity Golf team. Eli also takes G/T classes and is currently enrolled in Odessa College pursuing his Associates Degree.
Eli has received the Superintendent’s Award for having all “A’s” throughout his high school career. He also helped engineer a rocket that he was able to launch for the school-which he thoroughly enjoyed!!!
Eli has a lot of hobbies and many different interests but his most prominent hobby is video games, cooking, watching movies and exercising. If he had to list his favorite movie, it would be a toss-up between “Robocop”, “Transformers”, “John Wick” and the classic “Back to the Future”.
Eli plans to further his college education and pursue his Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, which he is really leaning towards doing at Texas A&M!
